Frequently Asked Questions
Another designer can do it cheaper. Why should I pick you?
There’s always someone willing to do it for less, but that doesn’t mean it’s the smart move. You can cut your own hair too, but the results usually show. Cheap logos often cost you more later. Maybe it looks fine on screen, but doesn’t scale well on a business card, or looks off when printed on signage or doesn’t match your colours in print. Or your printer asks for a proper vector file, and all you have is a blurry PNG. I design logos that work everywhere, the first time, so you don’t have to fix or replace it later.
Why not just use Fiverr or Canva?
You can, but you’ll get something that looks like everyone else’s. Canva templates are fine for hobby projects, but they’re not unique to your business. I design logos that actually feel like yours, not something you’ve seen 100 times online.
Can you show me ideas before I choose a package?
To be fair to paying clients, I don’t do free concepts. Plus I value my time, but if you’re unsure, you can send me examples of what you like and I’ll let you know what’s possible. Once we start, I explore different directions and guide you through the process until you’re happy.
I already have a logo, but I don’t really like it. Can you fix it?
Yes, if it has potential, I can refine or clean it up. If it’s not working at all, I’ll tell you straight and suggest something fresh.
How long does the logo process take?
That depends on which package you choose and how quickly you give feedback. The Sleight package is usually wrapped up in three to five working days. Prestige takes a little longer, around five to seven, since we explore more directions and refinements. If you go with the Masterpiece package, the whole thing gets done in one or two focused days, with real-time WhatsApp feedback as we go. If you need something faster, I’ll do my best to shift things around.
Do you help with the name, slogan, or other branding things?
If you’re stuck on a name or tagline, I can give ideas or help refine yours. I don’t do full branding strategy, but I know what makes a name or slogan work with a logo, so I’ll guide you if you’re unsure.
I’m not really “a brand” yet. Do I even need a proper logo?
Yes! Especially if you want to look serious. People judge your business in seconds. A clean, confident logo makes them trust you, even if you’re just starting.
Will I know what’s happening during the process, or will I be left in the dark?
You’ll never have to guess where we’re at. I give clear updates as we go, and if I’m waiting on feedback from you, I’ll say so. Most of my clients prefer WhatsApp because it’s fast, easy, and direct and I keep things moving so you don’t get stuck in a back-and-forth email loop.
