I’ve been lucky enough to have Justin edit a couple of my short films – side by side and remotely – and design posters for them. He’s fully conversant with film language, symbology and technique and has a wide knowledge of music. I particularly appreciate the way Justin tries out scenes in a variety of ways before offering his cut which saves so much time when I ask ‘what if…?’ to which he can reply ‘ tried it, this way is better’. If you really need convincing though, he will cut it your way and show you. He’s invariably right. With posters, Justin has a knack of selecting imagery which captures the intrigue and appeal of a film without giving away too much and he nails it each time with his choice of type face and layout. A very important element in working with Justin is that once you convey your desires and suggestions, you can leave him to it and trust him to let you know when it’s time to sit down, review and tweak.

The key to any good website and graphic designer is that they need to understand what the client wants. Sometimes it takes so long to get this across to the designer because the customer and designer aren’t always on the same page.
Everything felt so seamless when working with Justin. He knows exactly what you need and wants without even asking the question.
It all starts with the comprehensive website questionnaire that Justin developed to ensure his customer is asked every possible question that needs to be thought of. Often designers just send a one-liner e-mail and ask you what you want. This ends up being 50-100 emails later and you still aren’t happy with the end result. Customers aren’t doing websites every day and you tend to forget the really important things and that’s where the questionnaire is quite handy.
Justin understands the need to be productive and that’s why he has worked endless hours on the preparation to make sure he satisfies his customer at the end of the day.
